Cross Over Basketball Holiday Programme
Join us these school holidays for an action-packed basketball experience! Our programme combines game-based coaching, fun activities, and skill development, all led by experienced coaches. Players will learn how to find team advantages, improve strategies, and gain valuable game-time experience, while having a blast on court.
Catering to all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned players, this programme is designed to build confidence, sharpen skills, and create lasting memories.
Girls Only Ballers Clinic
The Southern Hoiho and Cross Over Basketball are proud to host a Girls Only Ballers Clinic at the Edgar Centre these school holidays.
This unique clinic combines:

Southern Hoiho vs Tokomanawa Queens
The Southern Hoiho return to the court for their first home game of the Tauihi Basketball Aotearoa season! Join us at the Edgar Centre on Sunday — Rapid League action starts at 2:00pm, with the Tauihi showdown against the Tokomanawa Queens tipping off at 3:00pm.
Southern Hoiho vs Northern Kahu
Back-to-back home action for the Southern Hoiho! On Saturday 19 October, the Hoiho take on the Northern Kahu at the Edgar Centre. Rapid League tips off at 2:00pm, followed by the Tauihi matchup at 3:00pm. Be there to back your team!
Southern Hoiho vs Mainland Pouakai
On Thursday 31 October, the Southern Hoiho host the Mainland Pouakai at the Edgar Centre in Dunedin. Rapid League tips off at 6:30pm, followed by the Tauihi game at 7:30pm. Be there to cheer on the Hoiho in this exciting South Island battle!
Southern Hoiho vs Whai
Thursday 7 November — the Southern Hoiho return to the Edgar Centre for a big home clash against Whai. The night tips off with Rapid League at 6:30pm, before the Tauihi battle at 7:30pm. Don’t miss the action and atmosphere!
Southern Hoiho vs Tokomanawa Queens
Saturday 16 November — the Southern Hoiho take on the Tokomanawa Queens at the Edgar Centre in Dunedin. Rapid League tips off at 2:00pm, before the Tauihi matchup at 3:00pm. Don’t miss the Hoiho in action on their home court!

It’s the final regular season home game! On Wednesday 20 November, the Southern Hoiho face Mainland Pouakai at the Edgar Centre. Rapid League starts at 6:00pm, with the Tauihi showdown at 7:00pm. Don’t miss your last chance this season to see the Hoiho on their home court.

Taieri vs Town Tournament (Pool Play)
Cross Over Basketball’s Taieri vs Town Tournament is back! This fast-paced Year 5 & 6 basketball event features top young talent from Dunedin and Taieri. Silverstream are the 2024 defending champs, but the trophy is up for grabs. A must-see school basketball tournament in Otago, high-scoring, competitive, and full of energy!
